Narvaiz is a built right-handed pitcher. He pitches out of the stretch and utilizes a clean and relatively effortless delivery. His arm action is long and clean before releasing the ball from a high ¾ slot. His fastball topped out at 80mph with some cut. He showed a commandable changeup that he could throw in any count. His breaking ball was loose and had a 11-5 shape. Overall, Narvaiz got down the mound well after average hip load. Finishing over his front might add some arm speed and life to fastball.
2.19.17 - Ahtletic durable, pitching frame at 6-foot-1, 180-pounds. Stretch only pitcher. High, deliberate leg kick dowrking down to out as he glide down hill. Slight pause in seperateion to low balance, then work into a sound arm ation throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Creates some arm speed with some extension through release point. Cut breaking ball off a bit thorugh release. Creates backside drive with lift. Height and weight has stayed the same but velocity has increased since last year. Fastball is now ranging 78-80 maxing out at 80 mph with slight run. Changeup is 72-74 mph with nice fade. Slows down a bit on breaking ball with more 10/4 shape at 65-66 mph.
12.4.16: Narvaiz is has an athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. Throws from a lower three-quarters slot with a drop and drive delivery. Long, free arm action and normal effort. Shoulders on line and uphill, landing is slightly closed with a slight fall off finish. Fastball was 76-78, touching 79, with some late run. Change-up was 63-64 with fade. Big 10/4 curveball was 71-73. Had decent feel of the strike zone.
