Athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds. High level athlete with room to continue to develop. Ran a 6.72 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic set up. Short simple load to hitting position. Short path with fast bat speed and explosive hands. Gets nice extension through contact. Gets lower half involved in swing. Middle approach at the plate. Did not do position on the day. ---- Compact quick deliveyr on the mound with tempo. Higher leg kick into down to out lower half. Slight cross body at landing. Sound arm action throwing from a three quarter arm slot. Pitches with regular effort. NIce backside involvement. Fastball has slight run up to 85 on the day. Breaking ball has a tight, bottom out action with 11/5 shape. Has cutter with shorter action and slight sink.

7.7.15 - Athletic and projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds.  Hits from an athletic set up with a smooth back load and slight lift in stride. Has a short path with a barrel that stays in zone with fast bat speed. Has balance in swing and gets good lower half usage. Power potential in this gap-to-gap style hitter. Exit velocity of 87 mph. A short and quick arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Sound foot work and stay on balls of feet. Plays through the ball well and does a nice job of keeping direction with throws and using own momentum. Throws had life on them at 89 mph. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Plenty to like in the recent commit to Virginia. Has some movements in his swing which make for tougher rhythm, but like the athleticism at the plate and overall potential of this prospect.
