6-foot-8, 220-pound, large, long, athletic frame. The arms and legs are long, has plenty of room to fill out. A left-handed pitcher, delivery is deceptive, lots of arms and legs coming at the hitter, works out of the set position. The hands start low, work up with leg raise, has some lean to the gather, separation is on time, losses some leverage on the break, leans towards first base, could stay taller. The arm path is longer on the back side, works out of a ¾ to low ¾ slot, gets extension out front on release. The glove side could stay online a bit longer will help on direction. The fastball has life to it down in the zone, action to the arm side, good movement, clocked at 73-78 mph, when he’s on time and behind it, the fastball jumps. The breaking ball and changeup were both thrown for strikes with fell for them. The breaking ball was clocked at 58-63 mph, and changeup was at 69-72 mph, with action to arm side. Times to the plate were at 1.47, had different hold times and worked quick from pitch to pitch. Cleaning up the backside lower half will help get him downhill to the plate with even more extension. Good follow, more in the tank.
6-foot-7, 212-pound, large, long, wide athletic frame. The limbs are extremely long, has plenty of room to put weight on. A left-handed pitcher, who is a strike thrower, is a three pitch pitcher. The delivery is simple, hands have some movement to them with his controlled high leg kick. The arm action have average down to up length to it, works out of a higher ¾ slot, when on time pitches downhill. The fastball was clocked at 73-77 mph, locating to the glove side. The changeup is probably his best pitch, showed good sink, action to arm side, sold well coming out of the hand, thrown at 61 -62 mph. The breaking ball is slower at 53-55 mph. Looked to control the running game, changed times and looks. Competed at a high level, strength, overall conditioning is a must, will help in the development of the velocity, has much more in the tank.
