6-foot-4, 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Showed a pop time of 2.0 at the event. Threw 75 from behind the dish with a quick arm and workable feet. The receiving has improved since last year and he continues to work at it. Good flexibility behind the dish. Ran a 4.78 down the line on his dig to first base. Tee exit velocity of 89 mph. Hits out of a wide base, the hands work freely, finishes with a 1-handed approach. Stays in his legs throughout the swing and does a nice job of attempting to keep his hands inside the ball at contact. Continues to improve each time we see him perform.

6-foot-4, 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher. The receiving is solid and the arm has strength to it. The transfer and footwork during his throws can improve as he matures. Pop time of 2.04-2.07 in the defensive workout. Threw 76 mph from behind the dish during the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph to it. Hits out of a wide base start and relaxed hands. The path is long and flat to the ball. The leverage is solid at contact but the barrel takes too long to get to the zone. Swung the bat well in the game, having competitive at bats throughout, finishing with 4 hits on the day.

Big and physical right-handed hitting catcher, who can kick out to play first base. His size stands out, but not as much as his athleticism. Not a great runner, but he showed a feel for his body, soft hands catching and proper mechanics throughout the workout. Threw 73 from first base, where he showed an above average glove and good footwork around the base. Threw 72 with the gear on, and a pop time of 2.10. The footwork and transfer can be shortened up and cleaned but all in due time. At the plate, showed a wide base, high elbow set up. The front hip pulls him off the ball as he loses bat and tends to pull the ball. Finishing his swing will also help loosen up the swing. The hands are loose, he just needs to trust them and let them work. Tee exit velocity of 86, so as you see, he has strength.
