At 5-foot-8, 180-pounds, the frame is strong and has strength in his hands. A right-handed hitting catcher, showed extremely well. At the plate, the stance is open to even, does a great job of getting his hands back into hitting position. The hands are set at the shoulders, the path is down to the ball and gets a little uphill at the end. Keeps the barrel in the zone a long time, stays through ball and the lower half is under control. Behind the dish, the setup is balanced, the feet are wide and is on the flats of his feet. The feet and transfer are very quick, needs to close up a bit more with front side. Times down to second were 2.05, on the bag for the most part. Velocity on throws were 70 mph from behind the plate and 74 mph across the diamond from first. The feet work well at first around the bag, starting double play. Someone to stay on, can help at multiple positions and can swing the bat. The hands and wrists are very strong, needs to continue to work on the body.

5-foot-8, 175-pound strong, athletic build. Swung the bat with strength and length in the barrel. Wide base in his stance he showed a flat path and the ability to stay behind the ball. Exit velocity off the tee was 68 mph. Ran a 5.13 40-yard dash. Arm velocity from the infield and behind the dish were both 72 mph. The catching skills are there as his arm will play as he showed a 2.09 pop time. Behind the dish the arm path is a bit higher and cleaner and foot work is workable. At third, he showed a playable glove and a low-¾ arm angle with carry on the throws. Catching is more than likely in his future.
