Electric arm from the right-side, with effort in the delivery. This right-hander has a ridiculous arm, it’s extremely quick. The delivery is tilted up and down throughout the stride phase. He does run away from his arm, as the front side of his body is pulled off target. If he tones that down, throws enough strikes, lookout. The fastball is light and touched 91 mph. Throws two spin pitches, the slider was up to 82 mph and the breaking ball was 74 mph. The changeup is too hard but at times, shows the correct spin. It was 81 mph. Legit arm, no doubt about that.
6/23/15
Athletic and big framed right-handed pitcher at 6-foot-2, 200-pounds. The arm is special, shows quickness and is clean. The fastball was up to 85 and it has life and arm-side run to it. He throws a 12/6 breaking ball at 68 and a small slider in the low 70s. Changeup is a work in progress. The delivery has some coil to it and there is some spin off. The ability to make adjustments is there, and the athleticism is good. Threw 90 mph from the outfield and swung the bat with looseness. Probably only a pitcher at the next level.
2/28/15
Ultra fast right-handed pitcher, touched 86 and has more in there. Fastball is explosive and has arm-side run to it. The command needs to come a bit, but you have to recognize the raw potential. The breaking ball and slider both sat in the mid to upper-60s. The spin pitches need a bit more arm speed to them. The changeup is a bit hard at 79 but the ball spins the right way. Huge amount to potential, the delivery needs to be cleaned up and tightened as he has a great deal of effort in his delivery. The arm is real!
