8/4/16 Left-handed hitting middle infielder and one of my favorite players in the 2018 class. His game has really improved in the last year. The glove is solid, handles the pivot very well and his range is plenty. Threw 79 mph across the infield as well. Made all the plays in the game, the prep steps can be cleaned up a bit to help him get through the ball more. Ran a 7.09 as that continues to improve each year. The bat has good life to it, tee exit velocity of 88 mph. Lashed a couple balls around the yard at the event, stays in his swing and his legs vs right-handed pitching. Gets a little big vs left-handers but he has a good feel for hitting. Love his game, and he plays hard.
6/28/16 5-foot-9, left handed hitting middle infielder who has made a huge jump in his game since last year. Played great in the game, barreling up baseball all over the yard, stealing a few bags and making all the plays defensively. Ran a 4.32 down the line on a dig to first base. The glove is solid and his footwork to the ball has improved a great deal, it is much smoother. Threw 80 mph across the diamond with ease. Handles the pivot from either side. The bat had a tee exit velocity of 88 mph and there is more to come. Stance is even footed with semi high hand set up. The bottom half is under control and covers the strike zone by staying on the ball through the swing. Advanced position at contact and spread the field. Big time prospect.
10/18/15 Left-handed hitting middle infielder who has all the tools to play in the middle of the field. The glove is solid and the prep steps are there. The arm has more in it than currently showing, as the path is clean and fast. Could play multiple positions on the field as he is athletic and he can move. At the plate, he shows a sound setup with a clean hand path from the left side. He does need to flatten his swing a bit and make sure he gets above the ball through contact. Working on his short game is a must.
9/27/15 Left-handed hitting middle infielder who showed very well for me at the event. Ran a 4.5 down the line on a dig. At the plate, had a tee exit velocity of 83. The setup is spread out with a stable bottom half throughout the swing. Shows minimal head movement and the ability to handle the barrel. The hands are loose and the swing is a tick long now but could shorten down with physical strength. Handled both sides of the plate and showed the ability to spread the field. The glove is advanced and the arm has good strength to it now, throwing 77 across the diamond. Handled the pivot with ease and needs to continue to work on his footwork around the bag. Good looking young left-handed hitting middle infielder
