11/10/18 - Committed to Tulane out of State College of Florida
Transferred to State JC of Florida from Alabama.
Long and athletic left-handed pitcher who's fastball sits in the mid 80's with life and run. Good short arm swing on the backside and releases the ball out of a 3/4 arm slot. The changeup shows the same as his fastball out of the hand, could be a plus, swing and miss pitch at the next level The breaking ball is good and sits in the low 70's. The spin is 11/7 and will develop with time. The frame is long and the lanky, room to fill for sure. High end prospect.
11/10/19: Athletic 6-foot-3, 180-pound framed junior lefty with room to add strength. Simple delivery, works from the 3B side of the rubber, slight cross-fire that creates deception. Long, clean arm action into a slot, really tough look for left-handed hitters. Live fastball with late arm-side action, pitched 89-91 mph, showing solid command. Slider showed decent spin at 72-73 mph, showed ability to land for a strike and induce soft contact. (Sofio)
8/19/19: Touched 89 up in the zone with his fastball, while sitting 86-88. Worked his sweeping 68-70 mph curveball to the back door and as a drop-in strike early in the count. Changeup clocked in at 78 mph with some soft arm-side dive.
11/2/18: Has the frame and loose whippy arm you can dream on. Struggled to repeat and struggled with command and the breaking ball will need to improve, but the arm is loose, and works free and easy. If he can get on time and in line consistently, he could make some major jumps. Fastball sat 87-88, touched 90. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 68-69.
9/22/18 - The Alabama transfer has lean 6-foot-4, 190 pound frame. Throws from a 3/4 slot, slightly crossfire, with a loose arm. The fastball worked mostly 86-89 mph with some arm side life. The slider was flat at times at 71 mph, with sweeping action through the zone. Flashed average and should continue to improve. Overall, a great frame and loose, left-handed arm to follow.
