5-foot-10,155-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 4.52 down the line on his dig to first base. Showed good athleticsm and athletic movements throughout the workout. Threw 72 mph down to second base, the arm works clean. Pop time of 2.0, accuracy needs to continue to improve. Arm strengthening program would benefit him as the arm works very well. The feet need to be cleaned up during the transfer. Receiving needs to continue to improve as securing the catch and softening the glove needs to develop. I like the swing, the hands work freely and maneuvering the bat head is easy for him. Tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Adding physical strength will benefit him as well. Hits out of an even base, and even handed start. Takes a step forward to the ball as it approaches. The bat path is clean, slightly uphill at times. The bottom half needs to be more under control as he gets into the swing.

5-foot-9, 145-pound, Average athletic frame, has plenty of room for future development. A right-handed hitter, the stance is shorter and stands tall in the box. The hands are set low and very quiet, the stride gains ground. The tee exit velocity was 80 mph, had some whip out front with barrel. Finishes with two hands, pulls off at the end, could stay balanced at the finish more. Offensive in game performance was good, collected a hit and 2 SB’s. Time down the line was 4.72. Defensively, shows quick feet behind the plate, transfer is clean and quick. Pop times were 2.19-2.22, made a good throw in the game, was on the bag. Throws from a short quick arm action. The arm was clocked at 67 mph, arm strength should climb. A long toss throwing program will help progress. Interesting catcher to follow.
