5-foot-9, 170-pound left-handed pitcher who we are seeing for the second time as he was good inside during the winter months. The delivery is online, pitches out of a plus ¾ slot. There is slight coil at the top of the lift with his front hip. The bottom half starts to home and he forces the front foot open, would like to see him lead with the side of his foot. There is deception to the delivery is he hides the ball well. The fastball touched 81 mph and was true. The breaking pitch is 71 mph and has a good shape to it. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 72 mph.  Solid showing and more velocity to come as he matures.

Stocky left-hander with a higher than 3/4 arm slot. The delivery is repeated and the direction to home plate is appropriate. The arm is clean and fast out front. The front side has glove side pull to it, causing the direction of his front shoulder to come off target. The fastball touched 80 mph with arm side run to it. The command was very good in the bullpen. The breaking pitch is advanced, 71 mph with good tilt to it. The changeup is a work in progress, but shows the makings of being a very good pitch. 71-74 mph. Coming off tendonitis prior to the event. Really impressive for first time back out.
