6-foot-4,190-pound RHP (2018, Anderson County HS) has shown a steady increase in velocity over the last two years. Rogers' arm works freely and generates easy velocity with an 81-82 mph fastball that shows some sink. He has feel for his 68-70 mph curveball and throws his 71-73 mph changeup with good arm action. Rogers offers good projection at the next level, and it's easy to imagine he has yet to hit his velocity ceiling.

6/29/15 - 6-foot-2, 150-pound lanky right-handed hitter hits from a closed stance, short stride, has a gap to gap approach at the plate, average bat speed with 74 mph exit velocity, made contact in each at bat going 1-for-4 with a single to left field, ran 8.18 60-yard dash, offensive game will continue to evolve with physical strength. Shows average defensive hands, has a high-3/4 release with accurate throws, 72 mph velocity across the infield. As a pitcher, lanky frame and good projection, uses long arm action and works through a high-3/4 arm slot with minimal effort, fastball sat 68-70 mph topping at 71 and is straight, showed a 64-65 mph curveball with gradual 11/5 action, has good feel for the curveball throwing it for strikes, had a rough first inning allowing three hits and two walks, retired the side in order in the second inning, finished with two strikeouts (both looking) in his outing.
