5-foot-10, 170-pound OF had one of the most impressive performances of the Top Prospect Games. After running a 6.37 60-yard dash, Puckett was sent back to run again to verify the laser-time. Second 60 was 6.40. He showed more physical strength and pop in his bat than previously, as he smoked a triple in game play and hit what may have been the hardest ball of the event, a rocket line drive to third base. Puckett flashed his true center field speed with a high-light reel catch in the left-center gap in completing his impressive day.
5-foot-9, 155-pound RHH showed why he is one of the top ranked outfielders in the 2018 class, posted the top 60 time of the event at 6.75. He has a quiet approach at the plate with no wasted movement and a repeatable swing that produces consistent line drive contact, impressed with one of the best rounds of BP of the day, uses his athleticism well in the outfield and has a quick release that produces solid arm strength, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single to LF and a stolen base.
5-foot-9, 155-pound RHH continues to impress as one of the top OF in the 2018 class. Hits from a balanced stance, short stride, generates easy bat speed, gets the barrel on plane and keeps it in the zone an extended period of time, occasionally can get more use from lower half and backside, line drive type hitter with a gap to gap approach, showed best exit velocity to date, runs very well and projects as a top of the order bat. Athletic defender plays through the ball with occasional two-handed approach, high-3/4 release with solid carry on throws, arm strength was down some from previous event (88 mph).
5-foot-9, 155-pound right-handed hitter continues to solidify his status as a top OF in the 2018 class. Hits from balanced stance with a short stride, generates easy bat speed, gets the barrel on plane and keeps it in the zone a long time, consistently barrels the baseball with a line drive approach and flashes of gap to gap power, speed is a big part of offensive game. Defensively, athleticism allows him to play multiple positions but likely projects as a CF at the next level, showed a big jump in outfield arm strength at 88 mph from a high-3/4 release, moves well as a middle infielder with a quick exchange and sure hands.
