8/16/14 - 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect, posted a 4.78 home to first base time and 81 mph tee exit velocity.  Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, leg kick with a short stride, level swing path, line drive production with some gap power, went 2-for-4 in game play with a double to left-center and bloop single to right.  Defensively showed average hands at first base with 80 mph arm across the infield. On the mound, uses short arm action, over the top slot, lifts hands over head in windup, fastball sat 78-80 touching 81 and is straight, lacked command of 65-66 mph curveball with minimal action, retired side in order after hitting first batter with a curveball in his one inning of work.
