Defensively showed athletic actions with soft hands, ability to throw accurately on the move, short ¾ release, 80 mph arm across the infield. On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ slot, throws slightly across body, works from the stretch only, fastball sat 82-85 mph with some arm-side run and late sink, lacked command of 65-66 mph curveball that tended to miss up, showed 70-71 mph slider, throws strikes with the fastball, allowed four hits and struck out one in two innings of work, all outs recorded on ground balls.

2/16/14 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect with athletic build, displays solid infield actions, good body control on slow roller with the ability to throw accurately on the run accurate arm across the infield at 76 mph (79 at previous event). At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with a toe tap trigger, creates some lift and shows good pull-side power, had an impressive round of batting practice routinely squaring up the baseball, uses strong lower half well, bat is best present tool, will need to improve 7.63 60 yard time moving forward, showed increase in tee exit velocity to 88 mph.
8/25/13 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect with athletic build, displays good actions, shows soft hands with an accurate arm at 79 mph, showed good body control in game play on slow roller. At the plate, starts in a balanced/wide setup, short stride, very good use of lower half generates bat speed, had a very good round of batting practice consistently squaring up the baseball while showing some pull power, went 2-for-5 in game play with two singles, ran 7.62 60 on a slow track, 85 mph tee exit velocity, definite prospect to follow in the 2015 class.
