8/16/14 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound left-handed hitter, athletic frame, hits from a tall and open stance with medium stride, swing is easy and loose, shows power to the pull-side with good bat speed through the zone, 91 mph tee exit velocity (second best of event), went 2-for-4 in game play with two singles to right field. Shows athleticism defensively at first base, good feet and hands, 83 mph arm across the infield, athleticism allows for move to corner outfield spot at the next level, versatile player. Posted a 4.48 home to first base time.
5/6/14 - Saw Stamm in the All A State Tournament and he showed much better outfield actions than he showed last summer while hitting a long HR to right field at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, his 6th of the season. Stamm projects as an athletic first baseman with left-handed power who can also play the outfield.
6/11/13 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect with strong build, shows good athleticism and lateral movement at first base, 79 mph arm strength across the infield. As an outfielder room to improve footwork and playing through the ball, 80 mph arm strength. Offensively, left-handed hitter with power potential, tall/narrow setup with short stride, showed good bat speed with 88 mph tee exit velocity and gap to gap power with a double to right-center in game action, would like to see more consistent lower half involvement in swing, left-handed bat to follow in 2015 class.
