8/16/14 - 6-foot, 180-pound prospect, strong and athletic frame, posted a 4.44 home to first base time and 87 mph tee exit velocity.  Left-handed hitter, wide base, minimal stride, displays good balance, shows pul-side power, went 1-for-4 with a triple in game play, has potential to be power left-handed bat at next level.  Defensively uses a two-handed approach on ground balls, clean exchanges, 81 mph arm strength, very accurate throws to the third base bag.

1/21/13 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound, left-handed hitting prospect with athletic frame, 77 mph arm strength, will gain more arm strength with better throwing mechanics and use of body, needs to be more aggressive playing through the ball. Offensively, hits from open stance, squares front side, lower half works, chest level hand trigger, flat bat path, shows the ability to hit line drives the other way, registered 84 mph tee exit velocity, ran event best 4.81 40 yard dash.  Coffey is an interesting prospect to follow and has the potential to develop into a very good outfield prospect in the class of 2015 with some refinement of his skills.
