6/15/16 - Max FB: 85, FB: 82-83, CB: 71-72
6-foot-2, 175-pound RHP with projectable frame, uses long arm action through a high-3/4 slot, arm action is loose and clean, quick arm, fastball velocity was down slightly from previous event (up to 87), showed a harder curveball than in the past with sharp 11/5 action and tight spin, allowed two hits and struck out two (both looking on FB) in his two innings of work. The combination of Beymer’s frame and arm action should lead to additional velocity as he fills out his frame.

2/13/16 - Max FB: 87, FB: 85-86, CB: 64-66, CH: 79-81,
6-foot-1, 170-pound RHP showed a nice jump in velocity, uses loose/quick arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with regular effort, fastball shows occasional late sinking action, shows good feel for curveball that varies between 11/5 and 12/6 action with good depth, throws the changeup for consistent strikes with good arm action. Beymer has evolved into one of the top uncommitted arms in the 2017 class.

60 Time: 7.11, Position Velocity: IF-83, Exit Velocity: 86
As a position player, hits from an open stance, uses a leg kick and short stride to get to square, foot gets down late at times, works the middle of the field with a line drive approach, showed some bat speed in exit velocity testing. Has some athleticism on the infield, average hands, long high-3/4 release, arm is loose and athletic, good arm strength with carry across the infield.

10/18/15 - 6-foot, 165-pound RHP stood out as the top arm of the event. He works through a high-3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action, easy delivery and ball jumps out of hand, quick arm, fastball sat 81-84 mph topping at 85 with late arm-side movement, shows a sharp curveball with 11/5 action at 67-68 mph, good feel for the curveball, stuck with the two-pitch mix consistently throwing strikes, allowed three singles, walked one, and struck out four in his three innings of work, has potential to add more velocity moving forward.

10-2-2018: Long, loose righty with high three-quarter slot. Sets up on the first base side of the rubber. Lands slightly open and on bent front knee. Works low to high and loses plane. FB 87-91 mph, overthrew at times. Slider at 81 mph showed late, at the plate action. With a little lower half mechanical cleanup, Beymer could see a bump in velocity and improved overall command.
