6/17/14 - 6-foot-1, 210-pound prospect with strong lower half, showed a jump in velocity from last summer as fastball sat 82-83 mph and is mainly straight, curveball showed tight spin and sharp action that varied between  11/5 and 12/6 at 70-71 mph, showed the ability to throw strikes, allowed no hits and struck out 1 of the 5 batters he faced in game action, given that he has shown a 3-4 mph jump in velocity in the last year, one to keep an eye on for additional velocity gains.  As position player, participated as a position player in the hitting portion of pre-game only, registered one of the top exit velocities of the event at 90 mph, shows some strength in swing that creates bat speed, long swing path, hits from a balanced and wide base with a short stride, went 2-for-4 in game play with a single to left and a single up the middle.

7/9/13 - 6-foot, 195-pound prospect with strong build, can continue to improve hands in OF, shows some athletic movement, throws registered 77 mph with online accuracy.  At the plate, hits from a slightly closed setup, short stride, shows a pull approach, ball jumps when barreled up, has the potential to hit for power with more consistent lower half use, ran a 7.37 60 yard dash, 80 mph tee exit velocity.  On the mound, uses long arm action through an over-the-top arm slot, shows online mechanics, some stiffness, fastball sat 79-80 mph and is straight, showed good command of 65-66 mph with 12/6 action, changeup sat consistently at 71 mph thrown with near fastball arm action and is straight.
