7/15/14 - 6-foot,180-pound prospect showed some improvement in arm strength and bat speed from previous event, shows soft hands with good lateral movement, has the ability to throw from multiple arm angles, reached a top velocity of 76 mph across the infield with a quick exchange. At the plate, hits from a slightly open setup and squares front side with a short stride, generates lower half torque in swing, swing path creates some lift, ran 7.53 60 yard dash, showed bat speed with 90 mph tee exit velocity.  On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, arm shows some quickness, stays online, fastball sat 80-82 mph with some late arm-side life, curveball is solid with tight spin and sharp 11/5 action at 65-68 mph and shows the ability to locate it at the bottom of the strike zone, showed a 72-74 mph changeup thrown with good arm action that showed some fade, also showed a developing slider at 68-71 mph.

1/19/14 - 6-foot, 179-pound prospect with athletic build, uses medium arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, quick arm, fastball sat 80-81 mph touching 82, showed good command of his 65-67 mph curveball with sharp 11/5 action, changeup sat 70-71 mph with good arm-side run and sink, good arm action on the changeup, repeats delivery well, may see more velocity to come from Koerner.  As a position player, shows soft hands with good lateral movement and plays through the ball well, shows the ability to throw accurately from multiple arm angles, has a quick exchange, top velocity registered 74 mph across the infield.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride, line drive type hitter, shows good balance, generates good bat speed through the zone, had a good round of BP consistently squaring up the baseball, registered 87 mph tee exit velocity, ran 4.77 down the first base line, solid 2015 prospect.
