10/4/14 - 6-foot, 175-pound prospect uses short arm action through a high-3/4 slot, regular effort in delivery, has shown a steady increase in velocity since July, fastball sat 76-80 mph topping at 81, shows occasional slight arm-side run, 62-65 mph curveball is inconsistent and needs continued development, tends to get under the curveball leaving it up with minimal action, allowed four hits and walked one in two innings of work, has good upside and will really benefit from work on secondary pitches.

7/23/14 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect ran a 7.76 60-yard dash, 65 mph tee exit velocity. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, medium stride, good balance, level swing path, line drive approach, went 2-for-4 in game play with singles to center and right and two strikeouts. Defensively showed soft hands, good lateral movement, short arm action, high ¾ slot, some accuracy on throws, can play through slow roller better, 76 mph arm across the infield. On the mound, uses shorter arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 75-78 mph touching 79 (slight increase from previous event), fastball shows some arm-side run, shows a 64-66 mph curveball that has 11/5 action when he stays on top of it, have already seen slight velocity increase since previous event with potential to add more.

7/15/14 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect shows capable hands defensively and developing arm strength at 73 mph across the infield.  At the plate, hits from a narrow setup with a longer stride, long swing path, line drive type hitter, ran 7.58 60 yard dash, registered 64 mph tee exit velocity, should continue to show improvements in offensive game and bat speed with added strength.  On the mound, uses medium arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, throws strikes with his 76-77 mph fastball that shows some arm-side run, gets under his 59-64 mph curveball at times that shows gradual 11/5 action, curveball should continue to develop, tends to slow arm on 65-66 mph changeup, good upside on mound and should continue to see additional velocity and development of secondary pitches.
