1/19/14 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect with projectable frame, plays through the ball in the outfield, high ¾ arm slot from the OF, showed 4 mph increase from previous event at 81 mph.  At the plate, hits from a slightly open setup, slight leg kick trigger and squares front side with a short stride, long swing at times, gets some lower half involved in swing, line drive type hitter with good balance, ran 4.69 down the first base line.  On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball is straight at 77-79 mph with two-seamer showing some slight arm-side run, slows arm on curveball that shows gradual 12/6 action at 61-63 mph, throws 69 mph changeup that shows some arm-side run when he stays behind it.

8/25/13 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect, lanky and projectable frame, shows an accurate arm from the outfield at 77 mph.  At the plate, hits from an open setup, uses a leg kick trigger, gets some lower half involved in swing, registered 82 mph tee exit velocity, ran 7.47 60, went 0-for-4 in game action.  On the mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 78-81 and touched 82, 2-seamer shows some arm-side run, throws a 73-76 mph splitter that he has a tendency to slow arm on, throws a 77-78 mph cutter with some slight action, has potential on the mound, needs to develop breaking ball.
