7/23/14 - 5-foot-9, 140-pound prospect ran a 7.40 60 yard dash and registered 71 mph tee exit velocity.  Hits from a balanced stance, front foot back in load, short path to the ball, line drive type hitter, went 0-for-4 in game play with two strikeouts.  Defensively, attacks the ball on the ground, showed 75 mph arm strength, some accurate throws to the third base bag.
Ont he mound, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, works from the stretch only, good rhythm in delivery, fastball sat 71-73 mph with good arm-side run, throws curveball with good arm speed at 63-64 mph that shows 1/7 action, struck out two in two innings of work, able to keep hitters off-balance.
