2/16/14 - 6-foot-6, 192-pound prospect with very long and lanky build, frame really projects, uses shorter arm action through a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, very minimal effort in delivery, fastball sat 83-84 mph (McGee was in the middle of basketball season, have seen 85-87 previously), good command of 67-70 mph curveball and 74mph slider with late action, changeup sat 75-78 mph with good fade thrown with good arm action. McGee wasn’t as sharp as in the past due to basketball season, but he is a sought after 2016 prospect with multiple Division I offers on the table presently.

2/16/14 - 6-foot-6, 192-pound prospect with lanky build and projectable frame, shows soft hands at first base, fields ball deep, 79 mph arm strength across the infield. At the plate, hits from a balanced setup with short stride, good balance, drops hands slightly in load, chest-level hand trigger with level swing plane, line drive type hitter, ran 7.75 60 yard dash, 86 mph tee exit velocity.
8/25/13 - 6-foot-5, 180-pound prospect with long and lanky frame is the top prospect in the 2016 class, big projectability on the mound, uses medium arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 85-87 mph and touched 88, curveball sat 64-68 mph, very good slider with late bite at 72-74 mph, good command of solid 76-77 mph changeup with run and sink. As position player shows soft hands at first base with 82 mph arm across the infield. At the plate, hits from a balanced setup, short stride, showed improved bat speed from previous event, 88 mph tee exit velocity, went 0-for3 in game play. McGee is a definite high-level pitching prospect.
6/26/13 - 6-foot-5, 170-pound prospect, long and lanky build and big time projectability, had an impressive bullpen session throwing all of his pitches for strikes consistently, uses medium arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, repeatable mechanics, good rhythm in delivery, ball comes out of hand easy, fastball sat 81-83 mph and touched 85, showed good command of curveball with tight rotation and sharp 11/5 action at 66-69 mph, shows an advanced slider for age at 72-74 mph, 75-77 mph changeup shows good run and sink, top-level 2016 pitching prospect with very high ceiling. As position player, shows soft hands, 75 mph across the infield. At the plate, hits from a balances setup, short stride, arm bar in load, ran 7.72 60 yard dash, 83 mph tee exit velocity.
