8/2/16 - Max FB: 77, FB: 76-77, CB: 63-68, CH: 67-68
6-foot-2, 155-pound RHP is long and lanky with good projectability, showed an increase in velocity from last fall, uses an over the head windup into a very deliberate delivery, arm action is long with some wrap and works through a high-3/4 slot, fastball showed occasional good arm-side run, curveball had a fairly wide velocity range with 11/5 break and good feel, changeup is deceptive with good velocity difference and fading action, worked two perfect innings with two strikeouts (one swinging on CB, one on FB). Hart has made solid strides and should continue to develop as he fills out his frame.
10/11/15 - 6-foot-1, 135 pound right-handed hitter starts in a balanced stance, loads back with front foot with a mid-length stride, arm bar in load creates some length in swing, shows some quickness in hands, average bat speed, 71 mph exit velocity, ran a 7.95 60, went 0-for-4 in game play with two strikeouts. Shows soft hands, does a good job of fielding the ball out front and funneling to body, accurate arm with high-3/4 release, 71 mph velocity across the infield, has plenty of room to add to young/lanky frame that will benefit overall game.
On the mound, 6-foot-1,135-pound RHP with significant room to add to slender frame, uses long arm action through a ¾ to high-3/4 slot, over the head windup, deliberate delivery with minimal effort, fastball sat 71-74 mph with occasional arm-side run and sink, 60-62mph curveball shows gradual 11/5 action, throws a solid 66 mph changeup with good arm speed and late fade through the zone, consistently throws strikes, got in trouble a few times when he elevated the fastball but produced ground ball outs with the sinking action down in the zone, allowed four hits and struck out one (swinging on CB) in his two innings of work.
