6/14/17 - 60 Time: 7.69, Position Velocity:  IF-71, OF-76, Exit Velocity: 88
2/12/17 - 60 Time: 8.00, Position Velocity: IF-77, OF-82, Exit Velocity: 86
2/12/17 - Max FB: 82, FB: 79-80, CB: 71-74, CH: 75-78
9/18/16 - Home-1st: 4.90, Position Velocity:  IF-77, Exit Velocity: 86
6-foot-4, 212-pound LHH with ideal first baseman frame, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride, uses strength in swing and has good power, uphill path at times creates some lift at contact, took a good round of BP with loud contact, shows strength generated bat speed. Soft hands and some agility at first base in moving around the bag, good arm strength with accurate throws. Ryle has significant left-handed power potential and is one to keep an eye on.
9/18/16 - Max FB: 79, FB: 76-79, CB: 66
6-foot-4, 212-pound LHP with physical frame, uses short arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with normal effort, stuck mainly with the fastball in his one inning of work that showed occasional arm-side run, threw one curveball with short 1/7 break. After allowing a leadoff walk, Ryle retired the next three hitters on two fly outs and a ground out.
8/2/16 - 60 Time: 7.63, Position Velocity:  IF-76, OF-81, Exit Velocity: 84
6-foot-4, 205-pound LHH showed improved OF velocity at this event, he hits from a wide base and uses a leg lift to load up on backside, engages lower half and produces some natural lift in swing, works the gaps and shows flashes of pull side power, ball jumps off the barrel when squared up. Shows the defensive ability to play first base or a corner outfield spot but projects best at 1B, fields the ball cleanly and shows slightly above average arm strength, has some athleticism around the first base bag. Ryle has potential to be a left-handed power bat.
7/6/16 - Home-1st: 4.83, Position Velocity:  IF-76, OF-76, Exit Velocity: 85
6-foot-4, 205-pound, LHH hits from a wide base and uses a leg lift to load up on backside, engages lower half and produces some natural lift in swing, works the gaps and shows flashes of pull side power, ball jumps off the barrel when squared up. Shows the defensive ability to play first base or a corner outfield spot but projects best at 1B, fields the ball cleanly and shows average arm strength, has some athleticism around the first base bag. Ryle has potential to be a left-handed power bat.
6/29/15 - 6-foot-3,185-pound left-handed hitter hits from an open stance and squares up with a mid-length stride, has average bat speed with an uphill path, shows occasional power to the pull side, 81 mph exit velocity off the tee, ran a 7.89 60-yard dash, went 0-for-3 in game play with two strikeouts. Defensively, plays through the ball in the outfield and showed 73 mph velocity from a short high-3/4 release. Average hands and feet at first base with 72 mph velocity across the infield. As a pitcher, uses short arm action and works though a high-3/4 slot with regular effort in delivery, lands closed, fastball sat 70-75 mph and topped at 76 with occasional arm-side run, showed a 63-65 mph curveball with short lateral action, did not throw a changeup in his outing, allowed one hit and walked one while striking out one (FB swinging) in his two innings of work.
1/17/15 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound, young prospect with athletic frame, left-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, front foot moves back in load, short stride, shows some bat speed for age, good extension through contact, gap-to-gap approach, 75 mph exit velocity, 5.22 home to first time.  Defensively, shows adequate hands, good footwork around the first base bag, 68 mph arm across the infield.  As an outfielder, shows some hesitancy in playing through the ball, short high-3/4 release, 74 mph arm strength.  Ryle is an interesting young left-handed hitter to keep a close eye on in the future. On the mound, young prospect with great pitcher’s frame, delivery is easy with minimal effort, uses shorter arm action through a high-3/4 slot, tends to get under pitches leaving them up, fastball is straight at 67-71 mph touched 72 on one occasion, does not currently throw a breaking ball, changeup sat 59-65 mph and should continue to develop, throws a 64-66 mph splitter with some tumbling action, has trouble repeating delivery and release point not uncommon for young pitcher his size, could be an interesting prospect to follow.
