7/9/13 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound, left-handed hitting prospect, shows athletic actions and feet around the bag, soft hands, accurate arm at 77 mph across the field.  At the plate, hits from open setup, squares frontside with short stride, good use of lower half torque in swing generates bat speed through the zone, middle of the field approach, barreled up several pitches in his round, line drive type hitter, 80 mph tee exit velocity.  On the mound, uses medium arm action from a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 75-77 mph, 2-seamer shows some arm side run, curveball showed gradual 1-7 action on this occasion at 61-65 mph, showed good command of changeup at 71-72 mph which varied between some cutting action and slight arm side run.

6/11/13 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect, uses short to medium arm action through a ¾-high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball showed improved velocity from previous event and sat 77-78 mph with good arm side run, curveball shows sweeping 2/8 action and sat 61-65 mph, changeup sat 72-74 mph with some arm side run, gained better command of curveball later in his 1^st inning into his 2^nd inning of work.
