8/16/14 - 5-foot-10, 145-pound prospect, slight build, works through a ¾ arm slot, regular effort, fastball sat 71-73 mph, touched 75, fastball mostly straight, curveball showed gradual 1/7 action at 61-62 mph, consistently throws strikes, allowed five hits in two innings of work.

6/17/14 - 5-foot-8, 140 pound prospect with small build, works through a ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 68 70 mph with some cutting action, throws a 56-57 mph curveball with gradual 1/7 shape and a 57 mph changeup.  Cole didn’t allow a hit to the five batters he faced in game action.
As a position player, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride, drops hands and has a long swing path with an opposite field approach, registered 84 mph tee exit velocity and ran 4.63 down the first base line, went 1-for-5 in game play with an infield single and four strikeouts.  Defensively, showed average footwork and 69 mph arm strength from the outfield.
