8/17/14 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitter posted a 4.72 home to first base time and 81 mph tee exit velocity.  Hits from a wide base with minimal stride, good lower half torque in swing, hands show some quickness, showed a middle of the field approach, peppered the L-screen with several hard line drives in batting practice, went 3-for-4 in game play with singles to left-center, up the middle, and right-center.  Defensively, plays through the baseball, long arm action with high ¾ slot, 81 mph arm strength with some carry, accurate throws to the third base bag.  On the mound works through mostly an over the top arm slot, tends to open front side early, arm shows some quickness, showed an increase in velocity as fastball sat 80-82 mph touching 83, showed better command of curveball from previous event at 67-72 mph with 11/5 to occasional 12/6 action, showed a 73-76 mph changeup, initially struggled some with command but settled in, allowed two hits and walked two with one strikeout in two innings of work.

6/17/14 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect with athletic frame, uses medium arm action through high ¾ to at times over the top arm slot, arm shows some quickness, fastball shows hard cutting action at times at 78-80 mph, showed some inconsistency with curveball as he tended to get under it at times but it was solid when he stayed on top with sharp 11/5 action and some depth at 65-66 mph, allowed one single to the five batters he faced in game action.
As a position player, 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect plays through the baseball with a clean exchange and showed 81 mph arm strength with some carry and accurate throws to the third base bag.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup and uses a short stride, showed good barrel awareness in his round of batting practice consistently squaring the baseball in the 2^nd half of his round, shows some gap to gap pop with a short path to the ball, improved swing from previous event, 79 mph tee exit velocity, ran 4.65 down the first base line from the right side, went 0-for-4 in game play with two strikeouts.

2/18/13 - 6-foot, 160-pound prospect, room to fill in on frame, plays through the ball, good arm strength at 84 mph.  At the plate, starts with a balanced stance, hands back and a short stride.  He lands with his front foot slightly open causing for loss of lower half torque.  He bars the front arm and drops hands but gets squared up with quick hands.  He has a good backside turn and stiff front side letting him transfer his weight though the swing.
