8/5/15 - Rowden is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop.  Rowden ran a 7.53 60 and posted an exit velo of 75 mph.  Athletic stance, simple load, no wasted movement, line drive to middle of field, gap-to-gap approach, balanced swing.  On the infield, 82 mph positional velo, one of top for the event, loose high three-quarters arm slot, fluid footwork, plays through the ball, clean transfer and release. In the outfield, 81 mph positional velo, loose high three-quarters release, quick footwork, clean exchange, quick release, throws ball on a line downhill, mostly accurate throws.
