At the plate, open stance, in line stride, creates momentum with front side, no wasted movement in load, hand work inside of ball, oppo approach, solid consistent contact during batting practice, had a pair of singles in game action. In the outfield, 74 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, fields ball in a position ready to throw, quick glove to hand exchange, mostly accurate throws. Hiebert is a 5-foot-10 141-pound left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class. Hiebert has an over-the-top delivery, smooth and controlled tempo, throws with regular effort, stride is inline to plate, athletic finish, threw mostly fastball duing his inning of work with knuckleball mixed in, fastball at 65-68 mph, works mostly glove side, knuckleball at 59-62 mph, slight sink.
