6/2/15 - Dalton is a 5'11 182-pound right handed pitcher from Olathe North. Uses a up tempo delivery with lots of moving parts, athletic and explosive on the mound. High 3/4 arm slot thats seems to get on hitters quickly with a good fastball that produced a top velo of 85 mph. Mixed in a 70-71 mph breaking ball thrown for swings and misses and a 77 mph change up used in game action. Uses a leg kick and stays balanced and athletic for a line drive approach. Swings hard and aggressively, makes barrel contact and gap to gap type hitter in BP with some pop and a exit velo of 89 mph. Had a double and a single and a line out during game action.
4/23/15 - Uncommitted class of 2017 right-handed pitcher and third baseman. Strong frame. Slightly closed at plate, used the opposite field with singles to right against Ray Pec RHP Kyle Wilson, singled to left-center against Ozark. 4.76 home-to-first. 78-83 mph fastball, curveball at 71 mph, closed against Ray-Pec for the save. One inning pitched with a strike out.
