11/3/13 - During batting practice the physical 6-foot, 185-pound athletic infielder showed an open stance with a short stride.  His hands work with a simple, fluid load resulting in a repeatable swing with good extension.  Harris has a level swing path and gap-to-gap approach.  His exit velocity registered a 90 mph on the radar gun, the 2^nd best time in camp.  In the infield portion of camp he fielded everything clean and threw from a ¾ slot with a throwing velocity best of 78 mph across the diamond.  He ran a 6.89 60-yard dash, the 2^nd best time in camp.  Harris has the rare combination of speed and strength which moved him up the list.
