2/21/15 - Trujillo is a 6-foot 185-pound uncommitted catcher in Kansas’ 2015 class.  Trujilo recorded pop times in the range of 1.93 and 2.08, with a velocity of 75 mph, quick footwork, over-the-top release, clean exchange. At the plate, open stance, smooth rhythm, short stride, slightly closed, short path to ball, middle-to-pull approach, balanced throughout swing, 89 mph exit velo, 4.38 home to first.

12/27/14 - Trujillo is a 6-foot, 180-pound right-hand hitting catcher. During hitting drills showed a balanced set-up, loose hands, some bat speed, flat line drives, slight pull approach. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Behind the plate put the first two throws on the inside of the bag, simple footwork, under control, pop times in the 2.08-2.14 range. Saw limited action as a junior, playing for a senior-dominated Bishop Carroll squad and behind current Wichita State freshman catcher Taylor Sanagorski but cashed in at the plate going 6-for-11, with nine RBI. Solid unsigned class of 2015 catching prospect.
