7/12/16 - Nuessen is a 5-foot-11 200-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.78 60 and a 5.09 home-to-first.  He has an 83 mph exit velo. At the plate, open stance, smooth rhythm in set up with load, short in-line stride, flashed power to the pull side, solid consistent contact, gap-to-gap approach.  On the infield, 64 mph positional velo, over the top release, fluid glove-to-hand transfer with momentum through the catch, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Nuessen has an over the top release, throws with regular effort, in line stride, occasionally falls off to 1B side, fastball at 74-77 mph, breaking ball at 66-69 mph, 12-to-6 shape, change up down in the zone at 72-75 mph.
