6/9/14 - Haviland is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound class of 2016 right-hand hitting infielder from Chanute HS.  During hitting evaluations Haviland showed a tall set-up and slightly closed stance.  He drops his hands some and strides slightly open.  He has an upper half dominant swing and recorded an exit velocity high of 68 mph.  During infield defensive drills his top throw was 73 mph and showed an accurate arm using an easy three-quarters throwing motion.  Although he worked out in the infield, Haviland has played every position on the field.  He ran a 4.81 home-to-1B and 7.68 60-yard dash.

6/9/14 - Haviland is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed pitcher from Chanute.  He throws with clean arm action from a three-quarters slot.  From the wind-up he uses an up-tempo delivery with a vertical knee lift.  Working from the stretch he uses a similar knee lift and quick tempo.  His fastball was clocked in the 75-76 mph range while also showing 61-65 breaking ball and 69-71 knuckleball.
