A 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect. Swings from the right-side of the plate, starting in a wider setup. Simple approach, using a slight back load during his leg lift timing mechanism. Swing is compact, with the bat working on a downhill plane. Bat speed is developing, showing line drive pop. Flashed the ability to find the gap. Has much more in there as he matures and levels out bat path. Top defender in the outfield we saw in the first session. Actions are athletic and confident. Mechanically sound and plays with aggression. Transfer is smooth and he gets rid of the ball in a timely fashion. Flashed well above average arm strength to home plate with throws showing carry.
