3/30/15 GAME NOTES: The unsigned senior right-hander was 81-83 in his start yesterday. The breaking ball consistently sat at 70 mph, flashed a couple with good depth.  Over the head pump delivery. Fastball was left up in the zone. Allowed 5 hits in 2 innings or work.  

2/23/13: Strong bodied, 6-foot,185 pound sophomore shows good arm strength at 81-83. Currently his lower body lacks involvement making 83 more impressive. The breaking ball is still a work in progress; inconsistent arm angles on CB. Slows arm on change-up. While Maier is raw, the arm works and is a follow in the 2015 class.
