6/24/13: 6-foot-1, 170 pound senior is tall and lean.  Shows good feet from the INF, needs to improve playing through the baseball.  Mechanically sound.  Possesses good hands with the ability to throw from multiple arm angles.  At the plate uses a leg kick and lands wide after his stride.  Possesses good bat speed, but does get long at times.  Line drive type hitter has the ability to hit to all fields.  High academic prospect. 

2/25/12: Nicholas McCormick, is a 6-foot-1 shortstop from Speedway HS, McCormick is a tall bodied middle infielder with athletic actions and good lateral quickness. His foot speed needs to improve, but with his athleticism it should drop considerably. At the plate, McCormick showed a good balanced setup with an explosive lower half and plus bat speed. He projects to hit with gap-to-gap power.
