6/19/2012: Johnson is a quick, athletic, solid baseball player. At the plate, he shows quick hands with an athletic swing. He shows some pop but more of a top of the order, controls that bat type hitter. He runs well (6.89 60). From the outfield and infield he shows a quick arm (85 OF). 

Johnson already possesses three advanced tools. He ran a 4.06 home to first, and defensively he demonstrates a good understanding of how to play shortstop. Across the diamond he was 78 mph.
