6/25/14: 6 foot-1 inch, 195 pounds,  Arm works well from the left side, high 3/4 slot with some effort. Fastball was 81-84 with life, pounds the strike zone and mixes speed from a ¾ slot. Slider was 70-74 with sharp break, works fast and displayed some pitchability.  Athletic switch hitting 1b that had some swagger and pop in the bat.

2/22/14: See pitching notes below from the 10/19 showcase.  Improved his 60 time at the All-State event to a 7.21.  

10/19/13: 6-foot, 195 pound junior was 78-79 mph with his fastball.  Throws from a high ¾ arm slot.  Possesses good feel for three pitches.  Above average changeup at 67-70 mph with good sink action and keeps it down in the zone. Breaking ball shows a 1/7 action with a sharp bite.  Above average pitch at 68-73 mph.  Needs to improve his direction.  Velo should continue to improve. Will get a lot of outs in HS baseball. 

Is a switch hitter.  From the left side of the plate starts narrow and open with a smooth load.  Swing plane is uphill with projectable power.  From the right side his load is a little more inconsistent but the swing is almost a mirror image from the left side.  Swing plane is more level from the right.  Legitimate switch hitter.  At 1B moves well around the bag with a strong arm across the field at 79 mph.  High level defensive first baseman with good fee.  Ran a 7.38 60.
