7/14/16: Uncommitted  6-foot-4, 185 pound RHP was 82-85 with his fastball. Breaking ball sat around 70 mph.

10/18/15: 
 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, pitches from a high ¾ slot with quick arm speed.  Loose arm action.  Good balance point.  Quick delivery, slightly rushed.  Stays in line, lands square, athletic finish.  Fastball was 82-84 and thrown for a strike.  Breaking ball shows slight movement at 68-73.  Changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed, down in the zone at 71-75.  

10/18/14: 
 Projectable pitchers frame at 6-foot-5, 185 pounds.  Arm works from a short ¾ action. Quick arm speed.  Easy effort with smooth rhythm.  Good direction to the plate. Fastball was up to 80 mph and thrown for a strike with occasional sink.  68-72 mph breaking ball shows an 11/5 shape with gradual break.  Throws the changeup near fastball arm speed at 70-73.  Should continue to add velo as he gets stronger.  

6-foot-5, 185 pound sophomore possesses average hands defensively, with a long, accurate arm at 75 mph.  Lacks elite foot speed.  Ran a 8.06-60.  At the plate starts balanced.  Stride is short.  Long, level swing path.  Registered an exit velo of 74 mph.  

7/29/14: 
 6 foot 5 inches, 185 pounds, 8.12/60, Lanky and athletic player. At 1B uses a long arm action, from a high ¾ slot, average defender, throws on target at 78 mph across the diamond. From 3B displayed average hands and feet and was 74 mph over to 1B. With the bat he has a long stride and short path to the ball. Phillips projects more on the mound. 

6/14/14: 
 6-foot-5, 180 pound righty possesses a long, lean frame.  Pitches from a ¾ slot with quick arm speed.  Arm action is short.  Showcased good direction and lands square.  The fastball was up to 78 with some run.  11/5 breaking ball was 61-65 with late break.  Changeup sat 70-71 with some fade.  Across the diamond was 75 mph.  Offensively starts open and loads back.  Stride is short with good use of the lower half.  Bat speed is average with a long path to the ball.  Late rhythm.  Projects more on the mound. 

12/15/13: 
6-foot-4, 160 pound freshman is tall and lanky with long limbs.  Across the infield was 69 mph.  Arm action is long with average defensive actions.  Lacks premium foot speed.  Showcased to be more of a 1B in the field.   Offensively starts wide with a short stride.  Bat drags through the zone.  Currently raw at the plate.  Projects more on the mound because of his size.  Exit velo was 69 mph.
