East Coast Pro 2016: The Indiana recruit is an athletic 6-foot, 200 pound LHH outfielder. Plays the game hard with good instincts. Offensively shows loose hands with a flat swing plane producing gap to gap type power. Projects to add more power as he matures. Possesses enough athleticism to play CF, but may be better suited for a corner position at the next level. Runs a 6.7 60 yard dash.
4/18/15 GAME NOTES: The left-handed hitting Indiana commit hits out of an athletic setup with a wide base. Load is smooth and uses a short stride. Possesses athleticism with quick hands. Advanced approach to the ball with gap power. Hit a line drive HR well over right-centerfield fence which is listed at 355. On the mound sat 79-81 and touched 82 a few times. 5IP 3 hits 1K 4BB 1ER.
9/15/19: Is considered the Hoosiers top hitter, and one who combines power with batting average (led the Hooiers at .310 last spring with eight home runs). Despite being slowed on the bases by a hip strain, he showed an easy swing which generated extra bases, belting a home run to left center field in game one and a long RBI double to center field in game two.
7/30/19: The 6-foot, 220-pound Dunham is very physical and has real lefthanded bat speed, along with an average arm in right field. (Fitt)
8/5/18: Physically built with a muscular frame at 6’0/205 pounds. Dunham shows an above average run tool with natural hitting ability. Ran a 6.65 sixty-yard dash at the showcase portion of the NECBL All-Star game. Quick first step in the outfield with legitimate closing speed. Needs to improve throwing ability. Showed tendency to get underneath the ball on outfield throws and create too much arc on the ball flight. Arm only profiles for left field presently. At the plate, balanced actions with above average bat speed. Strong lower body keeps everything connected. Hands work in rhythm with leg lift and stride to create quality separation. Swing plane is level with a high finish. Gets more lift on the ball to his pull-side but can generate hard contact to all fields. Having a quality season at the plate this summer for Plymouth. If he can continue to hit for average and power at his current pace, the only thing that he’ll have to improve are his throwing actions. (D Jurik)
