2/21/15: A 6-foot-2, 190 pound Junior, Bertram showcased soft hands in the field with plus actions.  His footwork is fluid and plays through the baseball with athleticism.  Strong, accurate arm across the diamond at 82 mph.  Ran a 7.18-60.  Behind the dish showcased a good stance with quick, quiet hands behind the dish.  Good reactions.  Accurate arm from the crouch at 75 mph.  Recorded pop times of 2.04-2.17.   Offensively, hits from a slight crouch setup.  Loads back and uses a leg kick.  Good use of his lower half.  Bat waggle.  Possesses good bat speed with a level path to the baseball.  Overall good approach to the ball.  Line drive hitter with fluid rhythm.  Consistently barrels up the baseball.  Recorded a high exit velo of 86 mph.  

6/25/14: 6 foot/ 180 pounds, R/R, Athletic player, hits from a balanced stance with a short stride. He has average bat speed on a level plain, lines drive hitter that will hit for power with added strength. Fielded his position well, 76 mph across the infield and on target with good hands and actions.

Spring 2013: Bertram- 2016 from Zionsville shows a good wide frame for a younger player. Bertram runs a 4.45 and shows projectable power at the plate. Projects more as 3b defensively.
