6/24/13: Continues to be a top hitter in the state and arguably the top LHH in his class.  Diehm has projectable power and good use of the lower half.  Starts with a high back elbow with fluid rhythm.  Gets to extension with good lift on the baseball.  Top 10 player in his class. 

2/23/13: 6-foot-2, 195 pound sophomore is the top left handed hitter in the 2015 class and is easily one of the top overall hitters in the class.  At the plate he starts slightly open in his balanced setup.  He’s explosive with his lower half and displays good balance throughout his swing.  Gets to extension using quick bat speed.  Shows projectable power with fluid rhythm.  Tons of juice and pop.  In the field at 1B shows an advanced feel for the position.  Possesses good arm strength at 78 mph across the diamond.  Works well around the bag with fluid feet and a solid glove.  

10/21/12: Diehm is a highly projectable 6-foot-2, 190 pound athletic left-handed hitting first baseman.  At the plate he starts with a tall, open stance and shows a confident, quiet approach with a smooth load and short stride.  He possesses quick bat speed and gets to extension producing hard hit line drives with the ability to hit the gaps.  Diehm shows great power potential and projects well as a hitter in college.  In the field he works well around the bag and displays great foot work.  He possesses good arm strength at 81 mph.  Not only is Diehm one of the top hitters in the 2015 class, but he is one of the top 10 prospects overall.
