On the mound Gamble works from a slow deliberate delivery with a high three quarter arm action. Mechanically, Gamble shows good balance but on occasion falls off to the first base side. He throws three pitches for strikes. Currently, Gamble is a 2015 and will need to continue to develop arm speed. His fastball sat 68-71 while his change up and breaking ball were 61-62.
Defensively, Gamble shows an advanced glove for his age with average feet. Gamble’s arm projects as a second baseman. Gamble ran a 7.51 60. At the Plate, Gamble had an athletic setup with quick hands. He showed the ability to barrel up the baseball consistently. Right now, Gamble projects to be a high contact hitter. As he adds strength look for Gamble to improve in all facets of the game.
