6/25/146 foot 1 inch/ 210 pounds, 4.91-H-1st, L/L, Long arm across the diamond with Average Hands and feet.  Athletic set up at the plate, short stride with a buggy whip type swing. Gap to gap hitter.

2/22/14: 6-foot-1, 215 pound junior possesses a big frame with good athleticism for his size. Actions are still raw at 1B but shows some arm strength across the diamond at 81 mph. Best tool is his bat. At the plate starts balanced and is slightly open. Shows good strength with barrel whip. Bat speed is quick with an uphill swing plane. Lower half needs refined as he cuts himself off at times. Displayed present power. Interesting LHH in the 2015 class.

2/23/13: 6-foot, 205 pound sophomore moves well around the bag with a solid glove.  Across the field was 70 mph.  At the plate has a balanced setup with a smooth load.  Shows some bat speed and projectable power.  Produces good backspin carry.  Lower half is inconsistent. Displays an uphill swing plane with a long path to the baseball.  Showcased an exit velo of 88 mph at a previous showcase. On the mound the sophomore works over the top from a pump delivery. Slow delivery, pretty clean. Fastball sat 74-75 and was fairly straight. Breaking ball was a 1/7 gradual break. While McGee’s changeup showed inconsistent sink. McGee projects more as a hitter.

2/18/13: 6-foot, 205 pound big bodied sophomore shows average  running speed a 7.31 60.  In the field displayed a solid glove and moves well.  Was 70 mph across the diamond.  At the plate uses a balanced setup with a smooth load and wide base.  Showcased a quick bat, and gets the barrel through the zone producing backspin carry.  The swing plane is uphill right now, and shows projectable pop.  Needs work to become more consistent with the lower half.  Projectable power. Produced the top exit velo at the event at 88 mph. 6-foot, 205 pound sophomore works over the top from a pump delivery. Slow delivery, pretty clean. Fastball sat 74-75 and was fairly straight. Breaking ball was a 1/7 gradual break. While McGee’s changeup showed inconsistent sink. McGee projects more as a hitter.
