In championship game, went 2-for-3 with a double and run scored, finishing the tournament 5-for-6. Has aggressive plate approach, slightly open setup with high back elbow. Moves with long, fluid strides; also showed he can cover ground in the field. Likely projects as second baseman or first baseman at next level. Entered state semifinals hitting .479 with 9 doubles, 4 triples, 1 HR, 35 runs, and 25 RBI as a junior.
