10/14/12 - Prescott is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound two-way player that showed well on the mound. Prescott is a lefty that has a very deceptive delivery. His arm action is short and quick while hard to pick up when coming out of his hand. His fastball was clocked at 80-83 mph with arm side run and showed the ability to command the zone with it. Prescott’s curveball produces a sweeping action that he throws with comparable arm speed to his fastball. He showed the ability to be able to keep this pitch down in the zone with regularity. Prescott also featured a change up at 71-72 mph with sink that was also thrown with good arm speed and deception. Offensively, Prescott showed the ability to make hard contact using a level bat path and a good approach. Prescott also ran a 7.10 60.
6/14/12 Prescott is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound multi-positional talent. The left-hander works from a high 3/4 arm slot, and has deception in delivery. His fastball sat in the 81-83 mph range, while curveball registered at 61-64 and changeup at 70-73. Positionally, he showed smooth defensive skills at first base with a quick exchange and accurate arm (77 mph). At the plate, Prescott hit from a balanced setup with a solid lower half. He stays flat through the zone, enabling him to spray line drives to all fields.
2/19/12 Prescott is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound two-way player who showed well on the mound and impressed with his left-handed swing.  On the mound, Prescott commanded the zone with four pitches, and all with movement. He works from a high 3/4 arm slot and has a short back arm action.  His fastball topped at 82 mph, while his cutter sat in the 77-79 range. Prescott also filled up the zone with a 69-71 mph changeup, which exhibited sink, and a 63-65 mph curveball. Prescott hides the ball well, and with his short arm action and funk in his delivery, he should give hitters fits. Offensively, Prescott has a solid left-handed swing with good extension and whip through the zone.  A line drive hitter, Prescott took an impressive round of BP in which he squared the baseball up with consistent authority.
