5.12.15 - 6-foot-5, 172-pounds, skinny frame that could see more strength added down the road. The recent St. Louis University signee uses ¾ arm slot. Consistent strike thrower, with a solid feel for three pitches.  Average athlete, simple, repeatable mechanics. Clean, short arm action for such a long-limbed pitcher, works from the first base side of the rubber. Somewhat closed landing, near the third-base line. Uses the angle to create cut on fastball across his body. Sat 83-86 mph, topping out at 87 in the fourth. Kept the ball down in the zone for much of the game. Has a present understanding of how to pitch, elevated fastball when needed, also threw curveball at 69-74 mph range, with various shapes. Changeup wasn’t featured much. When flashed, Frontzak maintained his arm speed, while creating some sink at 71-74 mph. Struck out 12 and walked none. Showed complete control of everything he wanted to do. Threw 112 pitches in his complete game win, the last of which was 85 mph.
4/22/14 Long lanky junior right handed pitcher, 6-foot-3, 160-pounds, shows projection. Arm works from a ¾ arm slot, works slightly across body, short draw with loose extension out front. Fastball worked at 79-81 mph, showed run to arm side with sink. Curveball had slurve action at 66 mph.  Flashed changeup at 70 mph.

5/11/13 - Projectable young arm, long frame, slender build, 6-foot-1, 130-pounds. Delivery has slight crossfire action, ¾ arm slot, works loosely and athletically. Fastball worked at 78-79 mph, shows sink, lacked command, showed life through the hitting zone. Is a follow in the Class of 2015, shows projection, added strength should see extra velocity.
