Oberlin college commit. 6-foot-1, 170-pound, lean, loose-bodied, right-handed hitting infielder. Started at second base and hit in the three-hole for New Trier. Finished the game 3-for-4 with three runs scored, and two stolen bases. Direct path, athletic hands, advanced hand/eye, minimal swing and miss and uses the whole field to hit. Singled hard through the left-side of the infield in his first at-bat then lined a ball to right field in his second at-bat.
2.25.18 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound infielder, lean athletic frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action with short stride, easy repeatable setup. Path is short to the baseball, inside out type swing at times, with line drive gap to gap contact. Bat speed present and hands handle the bat well, projectable swing. 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is short and loose, plays from a high ¾ slot, flashes carry, above average arm strength for age, 80 mph across the diamond. Hands work, above average actions play through the baseball, feet play as well. 7.38 runner in the 60.
5.5.17 - Lanky, right-handed pitcher, worked from a ¾ arm slot, clean, loose arm action, finishes athletically. Fastball, run action, 73-76 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, near fastball arm speed, 60 mph.
3.5.17 - 5-foot-11, 150-pound, lanky middle infielder and right-handed pitcher. Offensively, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, leg kick stride, maintains balance. Uphill path, bat speed, recorded an 83 mph exit velocity. Defensively, throws from a high ¾ arm slot, kept throws around the bag, clocked at 67 mph across the diamond. Fields in an athletic position, flashed soft hands and fluid footwork. On the mound, short arm action, out of a high ¾ arm slot with smooth rhythm and easy effort. Works on-line, lands square and finishes in an athletic position. Straight fastball, clocked at 68-70 mph. Curveball showed feel, 11/5 action, controlled the zone, clocked at 57-58. Straight changeup, controlled the zone, clocked at 63-65 mph. Ran a 7.58 laser-timed 60.
